(hennemusic) Wolfgang Van Halen's Mammoth WVH performed an unreleased track, "I Don't Know It All", during a February 21 appearance at The Depot in Salt Lake City, UT.

Following its official live debut a day earlier in Denver, CO on the opening night of their Young Guns tour with Dirty Honey, Wolfgang described it as a "new song" before the group launched into the tune. (read more)


(hennemusic) Dave Grohl was among the guests on the February 23 episode of CBS-TV's The Late Late Show with James Corden. The Foo Fighter was on hand to promote the February 25 release of the band's forthcoming horror-comedy film, "Studio 666."

Featured alongside fellow guest Hilary Duff, Grohl shared some details about the film, and was asked about his busy work schedule in general before the pair were invited to play a game called "James That Tune", in which James uses a keyboard to play some Foo Fighters classics, and the two must guess what song James is playing...the catch is that James doesn't know how to play a keyboard. After The Burial and Thy Art Is Murder have announced that they will be teaming for their North America Back From The Gulag Tour that will also feature Currents and Brand Of Sacrifice.

The tour is set to kick off on May 10th in Sacramento, Ca at the Ace Of Spades and will conclude on June 18th in Portland, OR at the Bossanova Ballroom. (read more)


(hennemusic) Keith Richards is streaming a lyric video for "Demon", a track featured on the forthcoming expanded 30th anniversary reissue of his 1992 album, "Main Offender."

Due March 18, the 2022 release includes a remastered version of the studio record by original producer and drummer Steve Jordan, who also mixed and produced the bonus concert recording "Winos Live In London '92", which captures the group live at the Town & Country Club in Kentish Town. (hennemusic) The Jimi Hendrix estate is streaming audio of a 1968 concert in Chicago, IL. The live recording captures The Jimi Hendrix Experience at the city's Chicago Coliseum on December 1 as the trio deliver a 9-song performance - opening with a cover of the 1964 Howlin' Wolf classic, "Killing Floor" and closing with their 1967 hit, "Purple Haze."

"Please note that this is not a professionally recorded concert and the sound quality is sub-par," explains the estate. "Although rough sounded, this performance is provided for your enjoyment and to help present further context into Jimi Hendrix's incredible performance legacy." (read more)


Walker Hayes is helping TikTok and the National Hockley League kick off their brand new collaboration with a pre-game show at the 2022 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series this Saturday, February 26th.

Hayes made noise on TikTok last year when his smash hit "Fancy Like," went viral when he and his teenage daughter shared their own dance for the track on the platform and video has since been viewed over 34.9 million times and appeared in a national ad campaign for Applebees. (read more)


Jack White and My Morning Jacket have been named as the headliners for this year's High Water Festival that will be taking place at North Charleston's Riverfront Park on April 23-24, 2022.

The South Carolina music event will also feature performances from Modest Mouse, Black Pumas, Shovels & Rope, Old Crow Medicine Show, Caamp, Mavis Staples, Local Natives, Sharon Van Etten, Bahamas, Delta Spirit, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, Jade Bird, Amythyst Kiah, Felice Brothers, Adia Victoria, Shannon and the Clams, Cedric Burnside, Palm Palm and Jeremie Albino. Silverstein have premiered a music video for their new single "Ultraviolet". The song comes from their just announced new album, "Misery Made Me", which will arrive on May 6th.

Frontman Shane Told had this to say about the new album, For the first time in our career, we truly put it all out there. We went into this with no rules and no preconceived notions of what Silverstein is or what it could be. The results are bold. We somehow wrote the heaviest, saddest, catchiest, and most emotional songs in 22 years of being a band ... all on the same album. (read more)


Coldplay have released their first Spotify Singles recording. Side A of the two-track release is a stripped-down acoustic version of the band's current single "Let Somebody Go" with Selena Gomez (who also features on the new recording). Side B is the band's cover of Kid Cudi's iconic 2008 hit "Day 'N' Nite". Both songs were recorded at Henson Recording Studio, Los Angeles.

Chris Martin had this to say, "I have always loved Selena's voice and when Let Somebody Go arrived it felt like she was the only person to sing it with. I'm so happy she said yes. She is wonderful to work with and the kind of artist whose work sounds even better after you get to meet them." (read more)

Metallica have announced that they will be playing two U.S. stadium shows this summer in Buffalo and Pittsburg that will feature Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills.

The band shared via social media, "BUFFALO & PITTSBURGH: We're coming for you this summer! We'll be at Highmark Stadium on August 11 and at PNC Park on August 14. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 4 at 10 AM EST. There will also be travel packages available for the Pittsburgh show." (read more)
