Vitamin String Quartet have shared a video for their latest classic music makeover of rock hits. This time they released a new shot-from-home style music video for their take on My Chemical Romance's "Welcome To The Black Parade."

They have also announced a limited edition run of VSQ Performs My Chemical Romance vinyl, which was initially released as a Record Store Day exclusive LP this past summer. (read more)


Corey Taylor has shared a lyric video for his acoustic stripped back take on Red Rider's 1981 classic "Lunatic Fringe," to celebrate the release of his new "CMFB...Sides" EP.

As we previously reported, the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman's new EP features unreleased B-sides, as well as covers of tunes from bands like Metallica, KISS, Eddie Money, Dead Boys, and John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band. (read more)


Former Journey frontman Steve Augeri has a shared a lyric video for this brand new single, "If You Want". The song is the first track shared from Steve's forthcoming album, "Seven Ways 'Til Sunday".

Steve had this to say, "Lyrically, I wanted to reach out to the lonely hearts who never quite get it right or catch a break when it comes to matters of the heart. (read more)


(hennemusic) Rush are streaming audio of a live version of "Vital Signs" from the forthcoming expanded editions of their "Moving Pictures" 40th anniversary reissue series.

The song is included as part of a full, unreleased concert in the packages that captures the band on the third and final night at Maple Leaf Gardens in their hometown of Toronto, ON while on tour in support of their eighth studio album. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Scorpions are sharing a video for "When You Know (Where You Come From)", the latest single from the band's newly-released album, "Rock Believer."

The clip surfaces in sync with the February 25 arrival of the group's nineteenth studio set, which they recorded in their hometown of Hannover, Germany during the pandemic. (read more)


Poison The Well, Counterparts, Life In Your Way, and Open Hand have added to the lineup for Furnace Fest 2022, which will be taking place at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25th.

Organizers had this to say, "One of the most challenging aspects of booking the resurrection of Furnace Fest during a global pandemic was the reality that life was complicated for everyone - including our artist friends. (read more)


Thousand Below have announced that they will be hitting the road this spring for a U.S. headline tour that will feature support from with Savage Hands and Sleep Waker.

The band had this to say, "We haven't had the chance to do a full headlining tour until now and we're very excited to be playing a longer set and throwing in some new surprises. We've been hard at work on new material and can't wait for you all to hear it." (read more)


Blues rockers Ghost Hounds have shared a lyric video for their brand new single, "Baby We're Through." The song is the first single the band has revealed form their forthcoming blues EP.

The track was written and produced by guitarist Thomas Tull and songwriter, producer Kevin Bowe (Etta James, Paul Westerberg and the Replacements). (read more)


The Dan Reed Network have announced that they will play four concerts in the UK this June called the Summer Escape Tour and will also be playing a special album release party in Hamburg.

The short tour will include Waterloo Music Bar, Blackpool (June 16), The Welly, Hull (June 17), The Dreadnought, Bathgate (June 18), and a special guest performance at the HRH AOR Festival at 02 Ritz in Manchester on Sunday June 19. They will then head to Hamburg for an album release party show at Nochtspeicher on June 21st. (read more)


JD Hardy has released a music video for his brand new single "Let Her Run". The track comes from the Bakersfield country star's debut album, "Killer".

Hardy had this to say about the inspiration for the track, "I'm dating a gal who has trust issues based on a past traumatic relationship that seemed to bleed on me so to speak. (read more)


(hennemusic) Queen bring their blockbuster biopic, "Bohemian Rhapsody", to the big screen on the latest episode of the band's 50th anniversary video series The Greatest.

First announced in September 2010 as a film "focused on the band's formative years leading up to Queen's appearance at the historic Live Aid concert, 1985, when the band famously took the event by storm", audiences would have to wait until October 2018 to see the Queen story transferred to the cinema screen. Welcome to "Unravel." It's a song off album #2. Well, it's actually an EP. If you ask me why I'm doing an EP this time around instead of a 10 or 14-song album, let's just say it's the whole ball of wax that revolves around current culture, the music industry, the world's attention span, and "listener" behaviors on sites like Spotify. Let's face it. No one can bear to sit through a full length album any more. Playlist and the artists on them move way too fast and everyone is on to the latest and greatest. (continue)
