Greta Van Fleet have announced that they have added late summer and fall North American dates to their Dreams in Gold Tour that is already hitting arenas this spring.

The new leg will include 42 cities and is set to kick off on August 11th at the Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY where they will be playing with Metallica and will wrap up on November 12th at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA. (read more)


Tool's re-imagined and extended version of their 1992 single "Opiate," now dubbed "Opiate2," is streaming now via the various digital music and streaming services.

The Blu-ray only visual companion will follow on March 18th. Visual artist Dominic Hailstone ("Alien: Covenant", "The Eel") worked with Jones on the 10-plus minute film, which is the band's first new video in 15 years. (read more)


Shadow Of Intent have released a claymation music video for their song "Blood In The Sands of Time". The track comes from the band's brand new album, "Elegy."

Micah Nelson has released a video for the new single, "Along The Timey Road," from his Particle Kid project. The track comes from the forthcoming double album, "Time Capsule", which will arrive on April 22nd.

Nelson had this to say about the song, "I've always loved the idea of writing a letter to your future self and putting it inside a time capsule - reflecting back years and years later, realizing how much you've grown and maybe what you've lost and must try to regain. (read more)


(hennemusic) Eddie Vedder was joined by Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench for a pair of Tom Petty classics during his February 25 show at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

On the road in support of his new album, "Earthling", the Pearl Jam rocker welcomed Tench to the stage - according to setlist.fm - for a version of Petty's 1996 "Echo" track, "Room At The Top", and later, the 1981 smash, "The Waiting." (read more)


(hennemusic) Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have released a video for "Searching For My Love", a track from their 2021 album, "Raise The Roof."

The pair's version of the Bobby Moore and the Rhythm Aces tune - a US top 40 hit in 1966 - is the fifth and latest single issued from the project, which marks the follow-up to their 2007 set, "Raising Sand." (read more)


The Used have announced that they will be joining Rise Against on the road this summer for a North American tour that will feature support from Senses Fail.

The tour is scheduled to launch on July 16th in Santa Barbara, CA at the Santa Barbara Bowl and will be wrapping up on August 18th at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater in Detroit. (read more)


Overkill guitarist Dave Linsk will not be joining the band for this U.S. tour this month and the group has recruited former Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel to fill in for him, according to frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth.

The vocalist broke the news while speak with the Chicago Tribune. He said, "We've used Phil in the past when we've had issues. (read more)


Jimmy Kimmel Live! have shared video of Dashboard Confessional's special three-song performance from the Kimmel Stage that was not part of the broadcast.

Rock veterans Sweet, featuring original guitarist Andy Scott, have announced that they will be launching a UK tour this November and December.

The Unlock The Rock Blitz The Hitz Tour is expected to include performance of the band's classic hits "Ballroom Blitz," "Fox on the Run," "Blockbuster," "Hellraiser," "Little Willy," "Love Is Like Oxygen," and more, according to the announcement. (read more)


Brooks & Dunn have announced that they will be hitting the road this spring for their Reboot 2022 Tour that will visit arenas across the U.S., including stopes in cities that have not played in over a decade or more.

The trek is set to kick off on May 5th and will feature varied support from an impressive list of acts including Gabby Barrett, Jordan Davis, Riley Green, Walker Hayes, Jon Pardi and more (read more)


King Garbage have shared their brand new song "Monster Truck". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "Heavy Metal Greasy Love", which will arrive on April 1st.

Vic Dimotsis had this to say, "This song is less 'sea salt' and more 'salt of the earth'. It makes more sense 100 miles outside of any major city and may be one of the few songs ever written to use 'truck nuts' in the chorus. (read more)


Jimmie Allen has announced that he will be releasing his brand new single "Down Home" on March 8th, followed by a music video for the track on March 18th.

The song is the lead single from Allen's forthcoming album, and he cowrote it with Cameron Bedell, Rian Ball & Tate Howell. Jimmie had this to say, "'Down Home' is probably one of the most special songs I've ever written. (read more)


Swedish rockers Capricorn have shared their new single, "Long Gone Heroes". The new track is the latest offering from the band's upcoming studio album, "For The Restless", which will see a March 25th, 2022 release via Wild Kingdom.

Swedish rockers Wolf have released a video for their brand new single called "Shadowland". The song is the title track to the band's forthcoming album that will be hitting stores on April 1st.

Jon Tyler Wiley just released his new studio album "The Longing" last week and to celebrate we have asked him to tell us about the single "WannaBe". Here is the story:

I wrote "WannaBe" at the beginning of the pandemic. I had just finished a record and turned it in to be mixed, and weeks later every plan I had for touring the record was met with an emergency brake slide to a halt. I was watching too much of the news, and watching all of my upcoming gigs get canceled, as all musicians were. It was scary, and I was in a real funk. I stayed inside for several days at a time, watching old '80s action movies, not writing, not wanting to think about playing music. (continue)
