(hennemusic) The Foo Fighters won three Grammy Awards in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday night (April 3rd) for their work on the 2021 album, "Medicine At Midnight."

The band's tenth studio record took home Best Rock Album of the year, while the single, "Making A Fire", was named Best Rock Performance, and the track "Waiting On A War" picked up Best Rock Song - a songwriters category that saw all six members of the group honored for their work. (read more)


As Lamb Of God prepare to embark on a new leg of the Metal Tour Of the Year, they decided to team up with their tourmates Megadeth to record a brand new version of the trash legend's "Wake Up Dead".

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine provides vocals and guitar and his bandmates Kiko Loureiro, Dirk Verbeuren and James LoMenzo also joined Lamb Of God On the track. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Red Hot Chili Peppers launched their new album, "Unlimited Love", with performances on two US late night programs on Friday (April 1st).

As an April Fool's joke, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel swapped duties by hosting each other's program - moving Fallon to Los Angeles and Kimmel to New York - with the Chili Peppers' performing on both shows. (read more)


(hennemusic) Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is streaming a lyric video for "Strange Game", the theme song for the newly-launched Apple TV Plus Original series "Slow Horses."

The rocker co-wrote the tune with film composer Daniel Pemberton for the six-part espionage adventure based on a series of acclaimed books by Mick Herron. (read more)


(hennemusic) KISS are expanding their Off The Soundboard live bootleg series with the June 10 release of a 1996 appearance at the UK's Monsters Of Rock festival at Donington Park.

"Off The Soundboard: Live At Donington 1996" captures the group's original lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss in performance on August 17, 1996 as part of the band's Alive/Worldwide reunion tour. (read more)


Lords of the Trident just released their new album ""The Offering" and to celebrate we asked frontman Fang VonWrathenstein to tell us about the song "Charlatan". Here is the story:

"Charlatan" was one of the first songs from The Offering that I knew was going to be a single. And at the time I wrote the lyrics, we hadn't actually decided that the album was going to be a concept record...but I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the video. For a number of years, I'd used a special pyrotechnic effect on stage where I strung cannon fuse around a sword, and then lit it on fire. (continue)


5 Seconds of Summer are celebrating the kick off of their Take My Hand World Tour with the surprise release of a visualizer for the title track to the trek.

The song was written by Luke Hemmings and produced by Michael Clifford, and marks the 2nd track off their soon-to-be announced fifth studio album, which will be released independently in partnership with BMG. (read more)


Memphis May Fire have shared a visualizer video for their brand new single "Only Human". That track comes from their forthcoming album, "Remade In Misery".

The band recruited Fire From the Gods' AJ Channer to team up with frontman Matty Mullins for the vocals. Matty had this to say, "'Only Human' is one of my personal favorites off the new record. (read more)

(hennemusic) A David Bowie figure has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds London as part of the tourist attraction's newly-launched Music Festival experience.

Based on a photograph by Masayoshi Sukita taken in New York in February 1973, this is the second Bowie figure created by the wax museum, following a previous one for which David sat in 1983. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Scorpions are sharing video of an in-studio performance of the title track to their latest album, "Rock Believer."

The group - who are currently hosting a Las Vegas residency - were captured delivering the tune at Peppermint Park Studios in Hannover, Germany, where they worked with producer Hans-Martin Buff to record their nineteenth studio record. (read more)
