(hennemusic) Mammoth WVH has canceled the remaining six shows of the "Young Guns" tour with Dirty Honey after members of the band and crew have tested positive for Covid-19.

(hennemusic) The Eagles have announced the departure of Deacon Frey, the son of late band co-founder Glenn Frey, from their touring lineup. Deacon and country star Vince Gill were both new additions to the group's touring lineup in 2017, the year after Glenn's passing.

"Deacon Frey has devoted the past 4½ years to carrying on his father's legacy and, after some weeks of reflection, he now feels that it is time for him to forge his own path," says the group on social media. (read more)


(hennemusic) Judas Priest cancelled their scheduled April 4 concert at Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts due to a non-COVID-19-related illness.

"We hope to be able to make this show up in the near future," says the band. "Refunds will be available at point of purchase." Guitarist Richie Faulkner has revealed that the cancellation was a result of singer Rob Halford picking up a cold on the road. (read more)


(hennemusic) Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea performed a solo rendition of the US national anthem prior to a Los Angeles Lakers' NBA home game on April 3rd and video of the performance was shared by Flea online.

The rocker - who appeared at center court with a customized bass featuring the Lakers' logo and colours - later revealed that he personalized his unique version for one of the team's icons who was in attendance at the city's Crypto.com Arena. (read more)

Boston-based rockers Speedfossil just released their new album, "No Anesthesia" and to celebrate we asked Garret Vandermolen to tell us about the song "Luckiest Man In the World". Here is the story:

"Luckiest Man In the World" was one of those songs that, once I started kicking it into gear, really wrote itself - I knew right away that the tune had some legs when it was finished. The earworm synth riff that kicks off the song actually started its life as a guitar riff. It was the first thing I wrote for the song, and I spent a few weeks just noodling around with it. Once I was proficient at it, I then figured out the chords to go behind it. That was all I had for several days, and then we had a rehearsal one night and something happened that just triggered me to want to get home that night and write the whole thing. (continue)
