Black Label Society and Anthrax have announced that they are teaming up for a North American coheadlining tour that will feature support from Hatebreed.

The 24-stop trek is scheduled to get underway on July 26th in Phoenix, AZ at The Van Buren and will be wrapping up on August 28th in Philadelphia, PA at The Fillmore. (read more)


Crown The Empire have announced that they will be hitting the road this spring for their The Fallout 10 Year Anniversary Tour across the U.S. that will feature support from D.R.U.G.S., The Word Alive, and Until I Wake.

The trek is set to kick off on May 30th in Albuquerque, NM at the Sunshine Theater and will wrap up on July 3rd in San Antonio, TX at the Vibes Event Center. (read more)


The Acacia Strain have announced that they will be hitting the road for a U.S. summer headline trek that they are dubbing the Tune Low Die Slow tour.

They are launching the tour in support of their latest album "Slow Decay" and have recruited Malevolence, I AM, and 156/Silence to support them on the trek. (read more)


Train have shared a visualizer video for their brand new single "Running Back (Trying to Talk to You)", which comes from their forthcoming album "AM Gold".

The new album is set to be released on May 20th and will feature guest appearances from Jewel and Sofia Reyes, according to the just revealed tracklisting. (read more)


The 45th anniversary of Supertramp's "Even In The Quietest Moments" album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

Redbeard had this to say, "'I often think there's a cycle of three,' muses Supertramp singer/songwriter/guitarist Roger Hodgson as we mark the forty-fifth anniversary of Even in the Quietest Moments. 'I don't know why...There were two albums before Crime of the Century, and then there were two albums, and then Breakfast in America . Even in my solo career I've seen it...It may be a law of nature or something that there's magic in the number three.' (read more)


Darius Rucker has announced plans for a summer run of shows, bringing a who's who of rising Nashville stars along on 14 dates while also appearing at several fairs, festivals and special events.

Together with Tyler Booth, Daves Highway, Larry Fleet, Caylee Hammack, Ryan Hurd, Jameson Rodgers, Elvie Shane and Tenille Townes, Rucker will visit cities across the U.S. and Canada from July through September. (read more)


Bleed From Within have released a music video for their latest single "Stand Down". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "Shrine", which will arrive on June 3rd.

Ali Richardson had this to say about the new single, "Stand Down addresses the conflict that we've seen so much of over the last 18 months. Tim Burgess has released a Kevin Godley directed music video for his brand new single, "Here Comes The Weekend", which is the first taste of music from a new album due for release later this year.

Burgess had this to say about the song, "The idea was very much about two people who were distanced and wanted to connect but were finding it really difficult because of mobile phone signals and rain and time differences and jet lag. And I always knew the album should start with Here Comes The Weekend. It's a simple song, and it's a feeling more than anything." (read more)


Hyro The Hero released a new version of the title track off his "Kids Against The Monsters" project with a feature from Slipknot's Corey Taylor, along with a video.

Hyro had this to say, "Working with Corey Taylor was absolutely incredible. When I first heard him sing the words of the chorus we created, I got chills. Kids Against The Monsters is about the problems we deal with from generation to generation. This generation is trying to find peace and fix past mistakes. Late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's original group Grey Daze have released a music video for their brand new single "Saturation (Strange Love)".

They shared the Marc Silverstein-directed to celebrate the announcement of their forthcoming album, which will be entitled "The Phoenix" and is will be hitting stores on June 17th. (read more)


nugs.net have announced that they have partnered with Phish to livestream all four nights of the band's long-awaited return to Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The rescheduled four-night NYE run will now be taking place on April 20-23 and includes a very special three-set show on April 22 that is not-to-be-missed. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Who shared video of a Royal Albert Hall performance of their 1971 classic, 'Behind Blue Eyes", on the April 15 episode of CBS-TV's The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The band can be seen delivering the "Who's Next" single as part of a recent March 25 acoustic set at the iconic UK venue during a week-long series of concerts in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust. (read more)

The String Cheese Incident have surprised released their first collection of new music since 2017's Believe. The new EP is entitled "Into The Blue".

The title track was penned by SCI's Michael Kang in 2020 as his mother was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Kang says he saw his mother approach her diagnosis head-on. (read more)


Joe Bonamassa and his nonprofit Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation have announced that their third annual Stream-A-Thon Event will be taking place on Saturday, May 1 at 3pm ET to benefit the Fueling Musicians Program, which supports musicians in need.

The event will be hosted by Bonamassa and will more than 2 hours of music performances from over 25 musicians, including some of Joe's legendary friends and talented rising stars. (read more)


Rock and metal supergroup Projected have released a music video for their new single "Hypoxia", which is the title track to their forthcoming album that will be hitting stores on June 24th.

UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell & Astro have released their brand new single "Sufferer" to celebrate the announcement that they will be release their new album "Unprecedented", on June 17th.

The album will be released as a black 2LP, a limited-edition white-color 2LP, 1CD, limited-edition cassette as well as digitally. "Sufferer" is dedicated by Ali to his beloved friend and bandmate of over four decades, Astro, who tragically passed away last November. (read more)

Indie rocker Francis Alban Blake just released his new album "Passages" and to celebrate we asked his to tell us about the Leonard Da Vinci single "Blisters". Here is the story:

The song Blisters came to me on a dark damp and misty Dutch winters day. I say came to me, because like with 99% of my songs, it more or less happened in a short stretch of time. I had just bought a Korg MS2000 synth for in my studio and had brought it there, but I was in the situation where I actually had to drive home for dinner - my wife had already rang to say it was on the table- but I couldn't resist the urge to plug this new purchase in and check it out. Since I'm a guitarist first and a piano player last, I was surprised to find myself touching the keys and instinctively playing this rather vague melody. It made no sense to me and its rhythmic pattern and feel when I moved my fingers over the keys made it something real fun and addictive to play. Mesmerizing. I recorded it on my phone so I wouldn't forget. (continue)
